Coastal needed their fleet to be immediately recognizable in remote outdoor environments. The vehicles needed to look cohesive as a convoy and powerful in isolation — and handle both a clean Sprinter van canvas and a mud-covered 4x4.
Full and partial vehicle wrap designs for a fleet of eight adventure tour vehicles — rolling billboards that have become some of the most-photographed brand assets the company owns.
Coastal needed their fleet to be immediately recognizable in remote outdoor environments. The vehicles needed to look cohesive as a convoy and powerful in isolation — and handle both a clean Sprinter van canvas and a mud-covered 4x4.
Jim developed a wrap system anchored by a dramatic full-bleed landscape photography layer (different for each vehicle in the fleet, all from the company's own expeditions) overprinted with the wordmark, a bold accent stripe, and contact information in a consistent position across all formats. Applied by a certified installer in cast vinyl for durability.
Within two months of the new fleet launch, the company reported three new bookings that originated from guests photographing the vans in the field and searching the logo. The wrap design has since been applied to a ninth vehicle added to the fleet.
